Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 17, 2026
DoMyPythonHomework.com is operated by WitNip Inc, a Delaware-incorporated company. This page explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who else sees it, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your rights.
1. Who we are
The data controller is WitNip Inc, 600 N Broad Street, Middletown, Delaware 19709, United States. For privacy questions, contact us at hi@domypythonhomework.com with subject line "Privacy".
2. What data we collect
We collect only what is necessary to deliver tutoring services:
- Contact data — name, email address, optional phone, optional university name and course code, optional WhatsApp or Telegram handle if you provide one.
- Assignment data — the brief, rubric, attached files, deadline, and any code or coursework you upload to the contact form.
- Conversation data — messages you exchange with our team via email, WhatsApp, or the live-chat widget on the site.
- Transaction data — the payment method you choose and the metadata your payment processor returns. We do not store card numbers; processors store those.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, timestamps. Used for security and aggregate analytics only.
- Consent records — the timestamp and content of any consent you provide (cookie banner, age attestation, study-reference attestation), plus the IP address at the time, retained as defensive evidence.
We do not deliberately collect special-category data (GDPR Article 9). If your assignment file contains sensitive personal data about you or a third party, you are responsible for redacting it before upload.
3. Why we collect it — lawful basis
- Contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)): to provide the tutoring service you order, communicate about your assignment, deliver the code walkthrough, and handle payment.
- Legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)): to prevent fraud, protect our experts and other users, and improve our service. You may object at any time (see §8).
- Legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)): to keep financial records and respond to lawful regulator requests.
- Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)): for the JivoChat live-chat widget (set on opt-in via the cookie banner), and for any marketing email we may send (we currently send none).
4. Your privacy from our experts
A core commitment: the expert who works on your assignment never knows your real name, email, university, or any other personal contact detail. You are identified to the expert only by an internal order number. All communication with the expert is brokered through DoMyPythonHomework. Your identity is held inside the order-management layer; the deliverable surface is anonymous. This is a deliberate boundary, not a side-effect.
5. Who else sees your data — processors and recipients
We use the following third parties to operate the service. Each is a processor acting under our written instructions, except where noted.
- Hostinger International Ltd (Lithuania, EU) — web hosting and email hosting. Data residency: EU.
- Mailgun Technologies, Inc. (US, EU instance available) — transactional email delivery. We use Mailgun's EU SMTP endpoint so that message bodies land first in EU infrastructure. Mailgun is US-headquartered; cross-border transfers are covered under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- JivoChat — live-chat widget. JivoChat is loaded only after you accept the chat cookie via our banner. If you decline, the widget does not load and no JivoChat cookies are set. Cross-border transfer basis: your explicit consent.
- Cloudflare, Inc. (US) — DDoS protection, edge caching, and CDN. Cloudflare may see your IP, user agent, and request path when you visit any page. Cross-border transfer: Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Stripe, Inc. (US) and PayPal, Inc. (US, Luxembourg branch for EU users) — payment processing. Each is an independent controller for the card data they process. Cross-border transfer: each provider's own SCCs / DPF certification.
- WitNip Inc shared operations — your inquiry may be handled by team members supporting our other properties under the same WitNip Inc legal entity. No third party outside WitNip Inc sees your data.
We do not sell your data, do not rent your data, and do not share it with advertising networks. We do not use behavioural advertising cookies.
6. International transfers
Some of our processors are based outside the EU and UK (Mailgun, Cloudflare, Stripe, PayPal — all US). Where a transfer outside the EU or UK occurs, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses as the lawful transfer mechanism, plus the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified. For JivoChat, the transfer basis is your explicit consent given via the cookie banner. You may request copies of the relevant SCCs from us at any time.
7. How long we keep your data
- Assignment files you upload — automatically purged 15 days after delivery, both from our staff inboxes and from the Mailgun mail relay where they transit. We do not retain assignment briefs as portfolio samples without your separate written permission.
- Email correspondence — 2 years from the last message, then automatic archival deletion. Earlier deletion on request.
- Transaction records — 7 years for accounting and tax compliance under US and Delaware law. We retain only the minimum required by law.
- Server logs — 30 days, then aggregated and stripped of IP addresses.
- Consent records — for the lifetime of the underlying consent plus 1 year, retained as defensive evidence under GDPR Art. 7(1).
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a minimal cookie footprint. Strictly necessary cookies (session management, CSRF token, consent state) load without prompt. The JivoChat live-chat widget loads only after you click "Accept chat" in the cookie banner — declining keeps the widget off. We do not run any analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or social-tracking pixels at this time. If we add analytics later, the cookie banner will be updated and we will not load the analytics tag without your renewed consent.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete data that we no longer need, subject to legal retention duties.
- Restriction — ask us to pause processing while a dispute is resolved.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent — withdraw any consent at any time. This does not affect prior lawful processing.
- Complaint — lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (e.g. the UK ICO, the French CNIL, the Irish DPC, the German BfDI, or the California Attorney General).
To exercise any right, email hi@domypythonhomework.com with subject line "Privacy — Data Subject Request". We respond within 30 days (45 days for CCPA / CPRA requests where the volume justifies the longer window). We may ask for identity verification before releasing data.
10. California and other US state residents
If you live in California, you have the right to know, delete, correct, and limit our use of sensitive personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). You also have the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Therefore we do not provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link, but if our practices change we will add one and notify you. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under 16 without parental consent.
If you live in Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Tennessee, Indiana, Delaware, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Kentucky, or any other US state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you have analogous rights. Submit requests as above; we treat all US state requests under a single multi-state process.
11. UK and EU residents
If you live in the United Kingdom, the European Union, the European Economic Area, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and the UK Data Protection Act 2018 apply to our processing of your data. Your rights and our obligations are described in §3 through §9. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country of residence; the UK ICO is at ico.org.uk.
12. Children
DoMyPythonHomework is intended for adult learners (18 years or older). We do not knowingly accept orders from anyone under 18. The contact form asks you to attest that you are 18 or older. If we learn that we have collected data from a minor under 18, we delete it.
13. Security
We use HTTPS for all site traffic (HSTS preloaded). Server-side secrets live in encrypted environment variables on Hostinger's panel and are not stored in our git repository. Payments are handled by PCI-DSS-compliant processors (Stripe, PayPal); we never see your full card number. We do not guarantee absolute security, but we make commercially reasonable efforts and notify affected users within 72 hours of confirming a personal-data breach that creates a likely risk to their rights (GDPR Art. 33 to 34).
14. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our processing changes. The "last updated" date at the top of the page indicates the current version. Material changes are announced on the homepage for at least 30 days.
